The project XI Baltic Medal Triennial „Medal Art in Lithuania and Poland – 500 years” is coming to an end. Here are the achieved top goals of the project:
– The exhibition was shown in 3 venues: History Museum of Torun Region (Ratusz Staromiejski w Toruniu), Museum of John Paul II Coins and Medals, The National Museum of Lithuania. Exhibition participants were: 72 artists from 4 countries (Lithuania, Poland, Latvia and Sweden) and 2 minting companies (Lithuanian Mint and Monetų Namai).
– 6 lectures of various medallic themes were made and put on youtube chanel to broaden the knowledge about medal art (available in Lithuanian or Polish languages):

– A detailed catalog of the exhibition, together with the lectures summaries was issued, printed in addition of 500 pieces (available in English language only).
Also a digital catalog was created and now it is available to everyone.
